We recently completed a refurbishment of a downstairs toilet in Church Lawton, Stoke-on-Trent. The project involved the removal of old tiles, during which the existing plasterboard came away with them. To ensure a smooth and durable finish, we replaced the damaged plasterboard before beginning the tiling work.
The customer provided a new basin, which we installed as part of the refurbishment. For the walls, we used high-quality metro tiles with white grout and a sleek chrome trim, all supplied by Topps Tiles.
The project was completed in three days—one day for preparation and two days for tiling. Once the tiling was complete, we reinstalled the toilet, fitted a new towel rail, and securely installed the customer’s new basin.
During the process, we identified issues with the existing floor tiles. To ensure a flawless finish, we will be returning soon to replace the floor tiles in both the toilet and the adjoining hallway.
